Hand block printed fabric by the metre

I hand block print onto linen union, which is a cotton and linen weave (315 gsm), using vegetable oil based inks from Hawthorns in York.

Minimum order: 1 metre. Maximum order per length: 2 metres.

The printed fabric is air dried for a minimum of 4 weeks before being given a cool wash to finish. (It can subsequently be washed infrequently using a cool, gentle machine wash.)

Lead time for orders is a minimum of 6 weeks.

Suitable for curtains, cushions, blinds.

Maximum printed width is approximately 133cms (52”). Maximum unprinted width is 137cms (54”).

Samples are available and highly recommended to ensure colours/texture/repeat size is suitable. Please note that as I hand print each piece there is some level of variety and inconsistency which forms part of the essential character of my hand block printing.

Prices range between £110 per metre and £145 per metre, depending on number of colours/blocks.
